#Montech #Noctua #asuspcdiy - We've seen Montech following recent trends with an airflow focus whilst retaining their own unique ID. It's time for them to enter the wood space, it's time for the affordable XR Wood Chassis to enter the scene!

Montech have well established themselves as a low cost PC case manufacturer at this point. The XR Wood offers a minimalist approach to adding wood accents to a PC case, but I personally feel it was the right move. This enables us as PC builders to bring that aesthetic through the rest of the case without feeling that the accents are overpowering.
Coming in at under $80, the XR wood edition isn't particularly premium in terms of materials and overall build quality, but that's quite alright. It truly excels with airflow and fan support, whilst having a vibey aesthetic for those who enjoy a taste of walnut in their living / gaming space.

Montech continue to add solid cases to their expanding lineup. The XR Wood should find it's place nicely, rivalling cases such as the Corsair 4000D and NZXT H5 Flow for raw airflow potential. I'd even say this one could perform along side the Antec Flux whilst coming in cheaper still.
Hats off to Montech for making yet another, elegant and affordable chassis for us PC DIYers to explore.
