It has been quite a long time since we've first heard discussions about Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer remastered. It first gained plausibility in 2016 with the release of Modern Warfare Remastered and in 2020 when the campaign remastered dropped, plenty thought we'd see something pertaining to the multiplayer at some point. Low and behold, that never happened, but along the way we've seen PC clients attempt to bring us what Activision wouldn't give us, a very "Fine, I'll do it myself" approach to development. Well, with some hurdles along the way, those projects never made it to launch but one in particular now stands to do just that, H2M, a multiplayer mod client for Modern Warfare Remastered that brings us the classic Modern Warfare 2 of 2009 that we remembered, brings it up to speed with some quality of life features and loads to do plus a ton of bonus goodies. Today, we're taking a look at H2M and giving my initial impressions here as I was granted an early access look at it ahead of its launch later this week on the 16th - I'm a little late to the party as I wasn't around for the other creator capture session due to a wedding but hey, better late than never and I'm still excited to let you know about this project.
