Professional weightlifting requires more than raw strength. Athletes get six attempts across the snatch and clean and jerk, and the weight they declare determines when they compete. Because that number can go up but not down, lifters can disrupt an opponent’s timing, play mind games, and even miss four attempts and still win with two big lifts. #weightlifting #olympics
