The Millennium, is it Open for Personal Interpretation? (Youth Lesson)
If we claim to follow Jesus, why would anyone think to take something he told the angel to tell John, who was supposed to tell to the churches, Jesus’ last words to believers, could be open to interpretation?
In fact, Jesus said in Revelation 22:18-19 that to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
I don’t know about you, but that makes me take this book very seriously and everything that is written in it.
We will address the comments:
• “I believe in the Millennium, just a different one.”
• “Revelation is not about end times prophecy, but about encouragement to stand firm in persecution.”
• “We are experiencing the Kingdom now.”
• “Satan is bound NOW, so he is not able to deceive the nations.”
• "The first resurrection takes place at our conversion."
• “Jesus didn’t say to seek the millennium first, he said to seek the Kingdom first.”
