Just on time for the deadline, I managed to upload a second entry for #themidnight #remix contest, ''The Search for Ecco''.
The Midnight is organizing this dynamic so we can get through these difficult pandemic times, encourage us to #stayhome, and to be unified and connected when we have to keep social distance. I thought it would be interesting to give one of the remixes a futuristic dystopian twist somewhat related to that, and to me The Search for Ecco was just perfect for it.
This is quite the opposite of my dreamy/romantic/ethereal Deep Blue remix, this one is a dark synth rock orchestral piece inspired in how humanity's greed could be our doom, and nature's will to always fight back for survival.

The Midnight está organizando ésta dinámica para que podamos superar estos tiempos difíciles de pandemia, alentar el quedarse en casa, y para permanecer unidos y conectados mientras debemos mantener el distanciamiento social. Pensé que sería interesante darle a uno de los remixes un toque distópico futurista relacionado con eso, y The Search for Ecco se me hizo perfecta.
Esto es todo lo contrario de mi remix de Deep Blue de ensueño/romántico /etéreo, esta es una pieza oscura de synth rock orquestal inspirada en cómo la codicia de la humanidad sería nuestra perdición, y la voluntad de la naturaleza para siempre luchar por la supervivencia.

''A hundred years from the events that could’ve turned humanity in the right direction, and it just seems that we as a species cannot learn what is good for us or our planet.
It’s been an entire century since the widest spread pandemic of modern times took over and caused a worldwide state of emergency. A time in which our ancestors were in permanent lockdown, aggressive wildfires spread over multiple countries and corporations shifted from man to machine.
There were so many opportunities for us to change as a whole, many opportunities to understand that we do not own planet earth or its wildlife, we are visitors, and today, after one hundred years, as our perishable race grow smaller every day, we wish our predecessors could’ve left us with more other than this hopeless group of leaders who call themselves ‘The Search for Ecco’.
