I often get challenged, questioned and yes, (this is @YouTube!), belittled because I say that the meter and the foot are ancient measures. Most people have not read the excellent work of the metrologists like John Neal's "All Done with Mirrors", Harry Sivertsen's "Measurements of the Gods", the works of John Michell, Algernon Berriman, David Kenworthy, Jim Wakefield and others, so they are not aware that this is indeed true. They show that names of measuring systems like Sumerian, British, Babylonian, Greek and Roman (etc.) are just conventions of namings for systems that go far beyond those civilizations in time. Berriman, Neal and Michell all make a strong case that the foot is the basis of all ancient measures, and that they all are connected by simple integral ratios. So I don't go into all of this in the video, I just give 4 examples from the #KingsChamber of the #GreatPyramid to show that the meter is encoded there. To me these settle the question of intentionality... They were planned, woven into the Structure by wise sages, connected to the math and science of the past.
