A 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has gone into effect today, following weeks of warfare that saw Israeli strikes kill more than 2,000 people, according to the government of Lebanon.
Over 1 million people, including hundreds of journalists, were also displaced, among them our colleagues at Daraj, an OCCRP member center in Beirut. Hala Nouhad Nasreddine, head of the investigative unit at Daraj, describes the plight of Lebanese journalists who have continued to report amid these dangerous circumstances.
