In todays podcast we explore the nature of AI content and the evolving relationship between human creativity and simulated reality, ranging from childhood toys to modern artificial intelligence.

By tracing the history of gaming and simulations, we propose that humans have long used approximations of reality to learn and express ideas. Challenging the negative "AI slop" label often given to AI-generated content by suggesting that these systems function similarly to the human brain.

Just as famous scientists and musicians build upon the creative ingredients of their predecessors, AI synthesizes a vast library of human-derived data to assemble output from basic ingredients.

Ideally we encourage audiences to focus on the underlying message of a work rather than dismissing the technological medium used to produce it.
