This is one of those books that you just love to hold in your hands. The beautiful tapestry fabric feels lovely and it’s just the right size - not too big, but richly decorated and completely stuffed with extravagantly wonderful things like silk ruffles and beautiful papers and ephemera. A pretty metal book plate decorates the cover along with my favorite button and elastic closure with pretty glass and metal beads.

The size of this journal is 8.5-inches by 6-inches with a .5-inch rounded spine. There are two hand sewn signatures with 92 artistically decorated pages. I used the Medieval Knights and Ladies digital kit from StacyStories on Etsy for the themed papers 22 pockets and tuck spots are stuffed with 32 pieces of ephemera - handmade tags and journal cards and fancy folded papers. A beautiful, handmade charm tassel slips on and off the spine.
