The Brunsviga 10 is a mechanical calculator. It is an unusual machine for Brunsviga because it uses a stepped drum mechanism instead of pinwheels.
The stepped drums are split over two axles - one axle has stepped drums that can turn a number wheel any amount from 0 to 4, while the other axle has stepped drums that can add an extra 5 to that for the larger digits.
