The Meal Deal used to be the quick on-the-go meal for working class people within Britain. Now, it's borderline a luxury. Sometimes even bordering a data collection scheme under the supermarket loyalty card schemes.

I've alluded to my issues with the Meal Deal several times before, but it wasn't until I saw prices reaching £5 that I began to grow truly cynical to the prospect. Sometimes, I don't know what's scarier. Inflation or the jobless TFL inspector when you don't have a ticket.
