With the Mattone Grande, SILCA has introduced a "bigger brick" seat pack with 0.74L of internal storage—nearly twice the capacity of the original Mattone (0.41L). The Mattone Grande can hold up to three road tubes, two CO2 cartridges, two tire levers, and a multi-tool. Alternatively, it can easily accommodate two 29x2.5 MTB tubes along with CO2, levers, and a multi-tool, making it perfect for long adventure rides or races where you need to be fully prepared.
Like the original Mattone, the Mattone Grande features a high-friction Hypalon strap paired with a BOA® Closure system. This BOA® ratcheting mechanism generates more than 15 times the holding power of Velcro and will not loosen, even under intense vibration or impacts. The result? A seat pack that stays securely in place under your saddle—no swinging, swaying, or rattling—until you’re ready to access it.
