Platformer discourse has been running wild through the social media streets! So let's put an end to the slander posts and fandom fights once and for all!

RULES
1. Only franchises that focus on platforming!
This prevents franchises that are primarily known for a different genre (Pac-Man, Littlebigplanet, etc.) from taking a spot that could go to pure platformers!

2. For calculating average game sales, only the initial release will be counted!
This prevents franchises that constantly rerelease the same games repeatedly either by themselves or through collections from sneaking on the list. (Mega Man, Frogger, Pac-Man, etc.) Remasters and remakes are okay!

3. At least 3 platforming titles need to exist for a franchise to make it to the leaderboard!
This prevents old one-hit-wonders, new startup series, and cash-grab movie tie-in games from sneaking onto the list! (Astro Bot, Madagascar, etc.)
