I was impressed, moved and engrossed by Angharad Hampshire's debut novel The Mare.
Thank you to the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction for giving it extra visibility, Ben @benreadsgood for passing on your copy and Katie @katiejlumsden for telling me I would like it.
