The boat in World 3 of Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the most unique moments of the game. It really opens up the map, and provides a sense of exploration not seen anywhere else in the game. Yet ultimately, not much really comes of this brief boat section. It gives you access to a few items and lives, but not much else. With so much missed potential, it's us to fill in the gaps! Here's just how awesome the Super Mario Bros. 3 boat could have been!
