Edwin Murray worked as an engineer in Murray's Costume Manor, owned by his father. While working for a project, he met Fiona and asked her if he could use her voice. After a while the two got together and then got married. When Edwin's father died of old age, Edwin inherited his company and the building. Edwin, however, wasn't sure if he was worthy enough to continue his father's legacy, but he had an idea to make his creations real. Murray's Costume Manor became something bigger, with many companies, such as Fazbear Entertainment, commissioning him different projects, mainly animatronic characters.

Poppy Playtime is a horror video game where the player plays as an unnamed former employee of Playtime Co. who returns to the abandoned toy factory of said company after receiving a letter from the staff who were thought to have disappeared 10 years ago. The employee discovers that the factory is filled with toys who are alive and malicious towards them, and starts looking for a way to escape the premises. Theodore Grambell, better known as Experiment-1188: CatNap, is the secondary antagonist of the Poppy Playtime franchise, serving as the main antagonist of the first games third chapter, Deep Sleep.
He is a monstrous life-sized Toy recreation of one of the members of Smiling Critters series of toys of Playtime Co. In reality, he is an orphaned child that was experimented on as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative to serve as the protector of Playcare, the companys on-site orphanage. CatNap is completely loyal to the Prototype due to him saving his life when he was still human, worshipping him like a god and killing the heretics who dont follow him.
Huggy Wuggy is a tall, slender creature covered in thick, bright blue fur. His arms and legs are several feet in length and end in large yellow hands and feet, respectively. His hands have large Velcro straps on the palms, and both they and his feet possess four digits, including thumbs, though they are fused together and are unable to move individually (with the exception of the thumbs). His torso is stout and disproportionately small in comparison to his long limbs. His head is large and contains two large black, dilated eyes. On his face are oversized, cartoonish, bright red lips.
CatNap’s monstrous form resembles a feline creature cloaked in purple fur. Its eyes showcase black pupils encircled by white irises and a cat-like nose. The creature’s mouth can unhinge widely, devoid of discernible teeth, forming an abyss-like void. Monstrous paws bear four digits, each armed with sharp, black claws, and elongated limbs seem loosely stitched at the joints. The disproportionately small, emaciated torso exposes the rib cage and pelvic bone beneath the skin. Around its neck, a subtle melanoid-black zipper runs, akin to a dull yellow crescent moon charm.
