Mark T. “Coch” Cochiolo was instrumental in co-creating the course of instruction that remains the foundation of US Navy SEAL firearm training today. He is now using his expertise to train civilians and law enforcement to defend themselves effectively with firearms.
Coch has over 30 years of Naval Special Warfare experience as a Special Warfare Operator, Combat Developer, Training Officer, and Weapons Instructor. In his most senior role, he served as Chief Warrant Officer overseeing training and combat systems for forward-deployed SEALs out of NSWU3, Bahrain. After retiring, he became a Contract BUD/S instructor, developing curriculum and teaching the weapons course for all Navy SEAL candidates.
