Animator Yamanaka Misaki: To appeal the two character’s cuteness, I got creative in shooting the angles of the body and face. There were gadgets where the two could hold hands, so in the third cut, I made a scene where they held hands and danced.
Editor Kasubuchi Rio: I used Photoshop to make Rem and Ram blink. I feel that the figures come to life when the blinking movement is added.
Director Shinohara Kenta: This shoot required 28 hours to shoot. We did something new in our stop motion shoot today. We made Rem’s breasts shake up and down. This effect was added in the retouches. I used up one whole day just to make her breasts shake.
