Part four of the complete making of Warhammer Fantasy Battle - a series looking at the development and release of the greatest war game in tabletop history!
Warhammer Fantasy was at the top of it's game, so the 5th edition didn't need to be a revolution, it could just be a refinement. And that served WFB well, but the world around it was changing fast and soon even Warhammer would need to evolve.
Games Workshop would under go one of it's most traumatic releases with the failure of Gorkamorka, but critically acclaimed new releases like 40k 3rd edition and Mordheim would change the narrative. All the while the father of Warhammer, Rick Priestley, was wrapping up his time at the helm of his original creation.
Things were good for Warhammer Fantasy, but how much longer would it last?
