Hang Fire presents the amazing story of the making of Voodoo Lounge. Let’s go back to 1993 to when it all began! A lot was happening for the band at this time. Coming off the hugely successful Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tours, the band took on a huge blow when Bill Wyman announced he was leaving. Instead of calling it a day, Mick and Keith saw this as a challenge to overcome. Auditioning a new bass player, finding a new producer for their new album, Mick and Keith’s island getaway writing sessions to the full band finally recording the album at Windmill Lane Studios— you won’t believe the twists and turns to get to the finished product.
