This is an 8-minute behind-the-scenes documentary of when we were shooting SNAPSHOT BLUES. It's the opening scene of the movie and it takes place in the boulder fields of California. SSB, formerly titled OVER EXPOSED, is one of the early features I directed (I'm the one in the beard and blue jacket). My crew was great and they went through hell as I dragged them all over Southern California, including the forests of Lake Arrowhead, the mountains of Big Bear; the back lands of Barstow and the dusty Dried-up Lake Beds.

This version has footage of Leslie Zemeckis (then Leslie Harter) dancing in her bating suit; Penthouse Pet, Monique Gabrielle unexpectedly taking off her top (but blocked out); and Angeline of billboard fame, all auditioning for the lead role of Angela Quail. Monique Gabrielle got the part because she was the best known at the time, having just come off BACHELOR PARTY with Tom Hanks.
