This weekend, Tyler, the Creator enters the 68th Grammy Awards with six nominations for CHROMAKOPIA, a reminder that some of the most ambitious records of the year are still being built from deeply personal, homegrown spaces.
Just prior to its release, Tyler posted a video to YouTube titled MASK IS OFF: CHROMAKOPIA, featuring candid footage of him creating the album across various home studio setups using his Apollo interface.
Released at the end of 2024, CHROMAKOPIA marks Tyler, the Creator’s eighth studio album, continuing his ability to seamlessly weave hip-hop, jazz, and soul into deeply personal storytelling shaped by his early years growing up in Los Angeles.
