In collaboration with youth charity Carney’s Community, contemporary artist Barry Reigate has worked with disadvantaged children to create a number of artworks created on doors, which were showcased as part of an exhibition throughout 5 Carlos Place. In this behind-the-scenes video filmed at Carney’s Community Centre, the charity’s lead youth worker Rory Bradshaw and manager George Turner are joined by Reigate to discuss the organisation’s work, the importance of the project and the opportunities it has created for the children. The doors were sold at auction via auction house Phillips, with proceeds going to charity.
