We pick up the action right where we left off on day fiveā¦
stranded behind the Coolah pub, trying to figure out what had gone wrong with Jasonās KTM š
What started as a simple breakdown quickly turned into a full-blown roadside diagnosis sessionā¦ and somehowā¦ we actually got it going again.
From there, the Magnificent Seven were back on the road and chasing down another huge day of adventure.
Leaving Coolah behind, we hit fast, dusty roads, stunning scenery, and conditions that kept us on edge all the way toward Coonabarabran.
We arrived in Coonabarabran after a HUGE day in the saddleā¦
but the next morning, as we headed toward Bendemeerā¦
š everything went pear shaped.
What started as another beautiful day of adventure riding quickly turned into something none of us will ever forget.
From fast, dusty roads and wildlife everywhereā¦ to a moment that stopped the ride in its tracksā¦
Captain Steve collided with a kangaroo.
In an instant, the Magnificent Seven went from ridersā¦ to first responders ā doing everything we could while waiting for help to arrive.
Meanwhileā¦ the drama didnāt stop there.
Jasonās KTM ā which had already given us grief behind the Coolah pub ā still couldnāt be trusted.
Turn it offā¦ it might not start.
Leave it runningā¦ it overheats.
