Just north of Riverside Airport in California, is Flabob! The 7th oldest airport in California complete with a grass runway. This year was yet another Low and Slow fly-in and it was a great event. May 10 - 12, this was a gathering of vintage tailwheel aircraft (Piper Cub, Aeronca, Taylorcraft, Luscombe, Ercoupe, etc.) plus many other classic aircraft, even warbirds. It'll be back next year around the same time, in May 2025. You can even do airplane camping at the airport. This is a great old-school fly-in.
