It's that time of the year again when we at 4 Collectors are joined by Al and Andrew of Love of the Game Auctions, this time to discuss their Spring 2026 Auction. While perhaps not the largest LOTG offering in terms of lot numbers, this may very well be the most jam-packed auction of rare and never-before-seen items in their history. Featured are near complete sets of 1917 Boston Store and Collins McCarthy, including the Ruth, the #1 registry set from 1968 Topps, a complete set of high-grade 1962 Topps, impossible to find items from sets like Kalamazoo Bats, Just So Tobacco, Bishop & Co, Contentnea, Frederick Foto, and many others. The auction also features an extraordinary array of Type I photos, including Satchel Paige in a Monarchs uniforms and Cool Papa Bell roaming the outfield.
