Track 112: Kaine / Quarrel

On the other side of the phone call, Kaine is reminding whoever answered that she is the one providing them funding. She is talking to Yura; apparently, she was the one who sent him to kick in the door. She asks him, "Do you remember why I handed you control of Murasaki, and why you were chosen for this?" Before she hangs up, she tells them to come to her mansion to act as bodyguards. Grandpa asks what Kali is doing, and she tells him there's nothing to be worried about.

Meanwhile, Kaine names her puppy Shiro (and if this were English I bet she'd name him Weiss), and the dog approves. Grandpa and Kali continue arguing in the background, over which Kaine continues talking to the puppy about how wonderful her life is and how fortunate she is to have her grandparents. She confesses, though, that she's also somewhat afraid of herself, and feels that there is something dark and frightening waiting to come forward. Kaine is confused about what she should do about this feeling, but she shrugs it off and decides that, if she has her grandparents and her new puppy, everything will be fine.

The warning about the advancing Legion finally reaches the mansion.
