I was never lost at any time. I also lost the footage in my collection of SD cards for three years. This is why I called the video "The Lost Hike.
I try to go on a new to me section of the East Coast Trail in Newfoundland, Canada. I had trouble locating the trail head but I tried to find it on my own. I had trail maps and a GPS. Once I realized that I was not on the actual trail, I decided to go to a more familiar section of the trail. I had a great hike anyway and it was a good learning experience.
