On November 24 1973 a US Navy Douglas Super DC-3 plane was forced to land on a beach in Iceland since it run out of fuel. Everyone survived the crash and rumours say that the pilot just switched to the wrong fuel tank.
The plane has never been removed and survived the harsh Icelandic weather since it crashed. I had the opportunity to visit it and made some awesome shots.
