The Lost Continent Full Daytime Walkthrough 2023 Universal's Islands of Adventure. The Lost Continent opened as arguably the most immersive and impressive land with Islands of Adventure in 1999, and featured three distinct mini lands inside. Merlinwood, with the incredible Dueling Dragons and later The Flying Unicorn, as well as the Enchanted Oak Tavern; Sinbad Bazar, which featured palm reading, coin making, henna tattoos, and the large scale Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show as well as the interactive Mystic Fountain; and The Lost City, which featured the highly acclaimed Mythos restaurant and the amazing walkthrough show Poseidon's Fury. Over time the land would be chipped away bit by bit, mainly starting with the entirety of Merlinwood being converted into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2010. Sinbad Bazar would be cut back in 2014 with the addition of the Hogwarts Express, and then the closing of the stunt show in 2018 for the construction and opening of Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Finally, the last attraction in Poseidon's Fury would close in 2023, leaving the land with no current operating attractions. Many rumors exist, but the future of the land is completely up in the air.
