Speedpaint I did of The Lost Boys! Originally this was just the four boys, but I added Star and Laddie in. I thought about Max and Michael, too, but realized that if I kept going I'd have the entire cast, lmao. Maybe I'll do another part!
The piece of art I use as reference for the color palette and for some design elements is by Sara Kipin. She inspired the drawing in the first place, and I really love it. Her rosy color palette is gorgeous, though I did alter it in a few places; for example, I made Dwayne a shade darker because his actor is Huron.

So this video was ORIGINALLY done with Rukos feminine VCV bank and uploaded for Halloween, but I redid it with new audio. Its been sitting on my computer for months.

I had so much fun covering this and learned a LOT about how Synthesizer V works. After playing around with Kevin for a while I realized he has an impressive high range, so I was excited to experiment with that for this! That being said, the harmonies ended up just being too high, haha. I had to use Eleanor Lite for them.
Sorry if the voices are a little loud at the end! I didnt want to get too fussy with the mixing because Id already wasted time flipping back and forth about whether the harmonies were going to be Eleanor or Maki... I think it turned out fine, though.

oh my god this was the biggest pain in the ass to mix. 25 vocal parts. i had to switch ruko and ritsu and then repitch ruko bc they wouldnt cooperate with the range and holy moly.
