This chapter explores the events of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime: Federation Force, revealing how the spread of Phazon reshaped the galaxy and prepared the stage for the challenges to come.

Using lore from Metroid Prime 3, Metroid Prime 2, Federation Force, and official supplemental sources, this video examines the growing reach of Dark Samus, the rise of the corrupted Aurora Units, and the Federation’s desperate attempts to contain the spreading infection. We follow Samus’ journey from Norion to Bryyo, from Elysia to the Pirate Homeworld, culminating in the final confrontation on Phaaze, the living source of all Phazon.

This chapter also highlights the immediate aftermath of the Phazon War, the Federation’s reorganization, and the lingering threats that continued to shape the galaxy long after Dark Samus’ downfall.
