Using lore from Metroid Prime, Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Metroid Prime Hunters, and various official sources, the video outlines the history of the Chozo, the Luminoth, the Alimbics, and other early societies. Their discoveries, conflicts, and mistakes left lasting marks on the galaxy and created the groundwork for many events that follow later in the timeline.

This chapter covers the rise of the Chozo, the struggles on Aether, the mysteries of the Tetra Galaxy, and the connections between these ancient cultures. It provides an overview of the early influences that eventually lead toward Samus Aran’s era and the main storyline of the Metroid series.

“The Lore of Metroid” is a multi-part documentary series that tells the story of the Metroid universe as clearly and faithfully as possible. Each chapter combines information from the games, official lore, and additional material to form one continuous narrative.
