The Lord has not, and will not forget us. “Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea?” (2 Nephi 29:7)
Artist Shelby Stroud gathered over 25,000 shells from Alabama, Florida, and Mexico to create this portrait titled "I Remember Those Who Are on the Isles of the Sea". No shell is forgotten and each contributes to the whole. It is comforting to know that the Lord has not and will not forget us.
