WE MADE IT OUT TO THE OTHER SIDE PEOPLE!!!
Hooray, we are all winners, so the time is now for Doctor Who! New Doctor Who entitled "Lucky Day" features Ruby Sunday and Conrad Clarke in their... "Lucky Day!" etc.
I didn't like this episode. I don't think it's story works on logic or drama or character, and instead it works on vindictiveness. The character 'Conrad' is a stand-in for figures disliked by the audience and production team and is basically there to be awful and irredeemable while we all tut and shake our heads. Meanwhile our protagonists are good and perfect and beyond criticism. What an interesting character dynamic! Jokes aside I don't believe this episode works as a drama, but more seriously than that, I think it was uncharacteristically poorly made in comparison to the other episodes of this season namely The Well, Lux and The Robot Revolution. I probably wouldn't mind the bland character dynamics if the whole thing was a bit better constructed. I'm getting Flux vibes from the editing here. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video and don't mind a bit of moaning from me every once and while! Sorry all
