For those that were there and for those that have only heard the tale told from brony to brony through the years.
Yes, the grand old girl is going down. But there was a lot of history to the Riviera long before Las Pegasus Unicon got hold of her.
Opened in April of 1955 and Liberace himself was the first featured entertainer. Elvis played there as well as the Rat Pack. Many movies were filmed there. Sure, it had it's problems but the ghosts of Las Vegas past will all go into the night if they are not remembered.
As a building, I loved the place. Don't kick a poor old showgirl when she's down.
She's just sitting at the bar, with fading feathers in her hair, waiting for her Tony....but her Tony never comes.
