In May of 2018, a team of scientists from around the world banded together to carry out a DNA sweep of Scotland's Loch Ness, in not only an attempt to catalog the species which inhabit the loch, but an attempt to figure out if there are such things as Loch Ness Monsters. After nearly a year and a half, the results of this crucial sweep are in, and may provide interesting insights not only to the loch, but to the nature of its legendary monster.
