This drawing/video is based on the classic song performed by Mike & the Mechanics titled "The living years" and is about a son's regret over unresolved conflict with his now-deceased father!
How many of us have had that same thing happen to us, that from time to time we have a fight or argument with a loved one or a friend and then we don't want to talk to them... only to find out later that that special person is no longer alive and we didn't have the time to tell them. sorry or apologize?
Maybe we may know what will happen today, but you never know what could happen tomorrow!
In this story, Marco had a big argument with his dad, to the point of never speaking to him... as the years went by, Marco felt regret and decided to visit his father... and then found that his beloved dad had passed away!
Marco felt such regret for not having been by his dad's side and telling him how much he loved him... but it was too late and when he saw his grave... there, he cried bitterly...and there his little son arrived, at his side and that comforted him!
The moral of this story is, say "sorry" to those we have offended or perhaps vice versa, and while there is still life, there is still forgiveness and hope... tell someone you love that you love them more, hug them and that's how things are in this world would work for better...
Lyrics:
"Every generation
Blames the one before
And all of their frustrations
Come beating on your door
I know that I'm a prisoner
To all my Father held so dear
I know that I'm a hostage
To all his hopes and fears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Oh, crumpled bits of paper
Filled with imperfect thought
Stilted conversations
I'm afraid that's all we've got
You say you just don't see it
He says it's perfect sense
You just can't get agreement
In this present tense
We all talk a different language
Talking in defense
Say it loud (say it loud), say it clear (oh say it clear)
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late (it's too late) when we die (oh when we die)
To admit we don't see eye to eye
So we open up a quarrel
Between the present and the past
We only sacrifice the future
It's the bitterness that lasts
So don't yield to the fortunes
You sometimes see as fate
It may have a new perspective
On a different day
And if you don't give up, and don't give in
You may just be okay
So say it loud, say it clear (oh say it clear)
You can listen as well as you hear
Because it's too late, it's too late (it's too late)
When we die (oh, when we die)
To admit we don't see eye to eye
I wasn't there that morning
When my Father passed away
I didn't get to tell him
All the things I had to say
I think I caught his spirit
Later that same year
I'm sure I heard his echo
In my baby's new born tears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Say it loud, say it clear (oh say it clear)
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late (it's too late) when we die (it's too late when we die)
To admit we don't see eye to eye
So say it, say it, say it loud (say it loud)
Say it clear (come on say it clear)
Say it loud
(Don't give up, don't give in and don't look away 'til it's too late)
Say it clear
Say it loud (say it loud, say it loud)!"

![Puttin On the Ritz! (Performed by Taco)
One of the classic songs of the 80s was the great hit performed by Taco titled Puttin On the Ritz...how much I love that song!
I said to myself, what about making my character (Fred P. Bear) dance to that song and having Little Polar come out as a cameo with the cake in his little paws (which he likes so much) in the middle of Freds performance!
It sounds funny and I decided to make the drawing!
It was fun to make this drawing and even more to mix it with that great song that still sounds so good indeed!
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
If youre blue and you dont know where to go to
Why dont you go where fashion sits?
Puttin on the Ritz
Different types who wear a day-coat
Pants with stripes and cutaway-coat, perfect fits
Puttin on the Ritz
[Chorus]
Dressed up like a million-dollar trouper
Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper (Super-duper)
Come, lets mix where Rockefellers
Walk with sticks or umbrellas in their mitts
Puttin on the Ritz
[Verse 2]
Have you seen the well-to-do
Up and down Park Avenue?
On that famous thoroughfare
With their noses in the air
High hats and Arrow collars
White spats and lots of dollars
Spending every dime for a wonderful time
[Verse 3]
If youre blue and you dont know where to go to
Why dont you go where fashion sits?
Puttin on the Ritz
Different types who wear a day-coat
Pants with stripes and cutaway-coat, perfect fits
Puttin on the Ritz
[Chorus]
Dressed up like a million-dollar trouper
Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper (Super-duper)
Come, lets mix where Rockefellers
Walk with sticks or umbrellas in their mitts
Puttin on the Ritz
[Chorus]
Dressed up like a million-dollar trouper
Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper (Super-duper)
If youre blue and you dont know where to go to
Why dont you go where fashion sits?
Puttin on the Ritz
Puttin on the Ritz
Puttin on the Ritz
Puttin on the Ritz
[Bridge]
Downtown, uptown
Get your kicks at the Ritz
Dine and wine, but not til nine
The time is right for us tonight
We can move, move to the rhythm
We can move, dance to the rhythm nice and easy
I want you to move
Put it on, puttin it on, puttin it on, puttin it on
The R-I-T-Z, how about you and me says—
[Interlude]
Gotta dance
Gotta dance
[Outro]
If youre blue and you dont know where to go to
Why dont you go where fashion sits?
Puttin on the Ritz
Puttin on the Ritz

This great song was performed by the band Graduate and they were an English new wave and mod revival musical group formed in 1978, in Bath, England.
They were only mildly successful, and broke up by 1981. They are today best known as being the initial recording vehicle for future Tears for Fears members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, who found international fame in the 1980s and 1990s!
Graduate also appeared on UK TV during 1980. They performed Ever Met a Day on the childrens TV show Runaround for Southern TV in Southampton!
Band Members:
Roland Orzabal – vocals, lead guitar
Curt Smith – bass guitar, vocals
John Baker – rhythm guitar, vocals
Steve Buck – keyboards
Andy Marsden – drums
Trivia(After Graduate):
In 1981,Orzabal and Smith went on to form the new wave band Tears for Fears.
Andy Marsden played drums on the original single recording of Suffer the Children.
John Baker later joined the Korgis, a band featuring members of Stackridge.
Baker joined Orzabal again in 1993, singing backing vocals on the UK and US hit Break It Down Again.
Marsden and Baker still to this day play in a covers band, the Meanies, alongside former Graduate manager Glenn Tommey and James Warren of the Korgis!
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Im lookin’ to the right and to the left
Searchin each and every direction
What am I gonna find there?
Lookin in the east and in the west
Open to all suggestions
Is there anyone who cares?
[Chorus]
Have you ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
Ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
Ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
[Verse 2]
I’m lookin for a light and for a home
Wishin there was someone I could talk to
But still I see no answer
All I need is light, Im all alone
Im sure that anyone will do
No it, no him, no her
[Chorus]
Have you ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
Ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
Ever met a day when it seems like no one wants to know ya?
