"The Little Things" is a documentary on beauty & the little things that make us happy.

Not only is this documentary the culmination of about 6 years of thought and refining, but it's also the senior project for my Bachelor's Degree in Communication.

People have always told me I was the happiest person they knew, always smiling and always looking on the bright side. I've always liked smiling and have always believed that happiness was a choice.

The world around me always fascinated me and I was easily lost in the beauty of the woods around me. We had a horse growing up and I would spend hours out in the pastures with him or sitting high up, hidden away on the hay bales. The world was fascinating, magical, and beautiful.

This is a documentary that explores beauty - how we interpret it, how it contributes to our happiness, and how that affects our quality of life.

In many ways this documentary is the tangible result of realizing my vocation which is really exciting. It would be a lie if I said I was anything but proud of this final product and also so immensely thankful to all the wonderful people who helped me make it a reality.
