hey guys, here (FINALLY!) is my entry for BOIT ( youtube.com/user/betonitcompetition ) round two, and unlike last round i'm not very happy with this entry but i'm glad i got it done on time. this round we had to vid an overused song and see what we could make of it, and lets just say the judges could not have challenged me more than with this song - i really, really, really, really hate this song! after listening to it while doing this i feel a strong urge to never listen to it again, but it was definitely challenging so i have to thank the judges for that. :) the hardest thing with this video though was deciding on a fandom, i've seen this vidded a lot to disneyheroine/villain crossovers, TVD and doctor who, therefore i toyed with the idea of editing it with merlin for a while but in the end decided on TLM - and i'm glad i did, it fit surprisingly well and as far as i know is an original fandom for this song. :D the other thing i was determined to do with this video was NOT USE FLASH - i've seen it used in so many videos to this song that that was one of the things i wanted to do to make this an original video, and while it took me quite a few go's to find something i was happy with to do with the heavy transitions (the black and white clips) i'm glad i avoided flashes. :P anyway, thanks to the judges for having me in this second round and good luck to everyone for the judging! :)
now i have to go off to work and tell myself this was worth staying up until 2am to finish when i have a 7 hour shift today! XD see you all later! :P
