In the original prints of "The Lion King", it uses the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo which is the digitally ink-and-paint videotaped version that made its debut. It was replaced by the 2000 Walt Disney Pictures logo for the IMAX and Platinum Edition releases before the 2006 logo is used on current prints since the Diamond Edition. In addition, the opening credit was reduced in size.
Here is a 4K recreation of the original opening before the Circle of Life sequence where it has the Frank Wells memorial notice at the start before the studio logo.
The memorial notice was recreated in Inkscape as the font used was slightly modified.
