I love making cocktails and I love furry films – so I've combined my love of both into Drink Like A Furry, a series of videos making drinks based on popular furry franchises.
The Lion King seemed like the most natural place to start. I've loved the movie ever since I saw it (as have many furries), and you'll certainly have some sorrows to drown while watching it.

🍹 TEQUILA MATATA 🍹
30 ml Tequila (Blanco/Silver)
30 ml Strawberry simple syrup
Orange juice
Pour the tequila and orange juice into the glass, stir, then put in the strawberry simple syrup.
Ice cubes can be added if you prefer, but if the orange juice has been kept cold I personally find that's sufficient.
This is not a very exact recipe, as the amount of orange juice will vary depending on your glass. Feel free to adjust!
🍓 STRAWBERRY SIMPLE SYRUP 🍓
250 gram sugar
250 ml water
250 gram strawberries
Basically a third of each.
First put the sugar and water in a kettle, turn up the heat so the sugar dissolves, giving an occasional stir.
Remove the green stuff from the strawberries and cut them into pieces. Once the sugar has dissolved, put them in.
Turn the heat up and let it come to a boil, then turn the heat down to a gentle simmer.
Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
Remove the berries, and strain into a bottle or container. You can use a filter to get the liquid extra clear, but the taste will be the same.
Keep the strawberries for a tasty treat later!
There are other recipes with different ratios/amounts, cooking time, and cooking processes. I recommend giving them a look too, and seeing which makes the most sense for you, but I've found this to be an easy and tasty approach.
