i played sonic adventure 2 when it came out on game cube when i was 9 years old - i was obsessed with the chao garden - and then i never touched a sonic game/media since. the only thing i knew of sonic since was through game grumps and random boom memes that found their way into my feed.
then i randomly binged all 3 sonic the hedgehog movies a month ago...
i loved 3 so much, shadow and maria's story was told so well - and it's made me go back and start playing (some) of the games again.
