They grow where little else can at first, stabilizing the soil and creating shade and shelter for other species to return over time.
That’s why, together with our partners GEOTA, we’re restoring this landscape with a mix of native pine and chestnut trees 🌰
Not monocultures, but a diverse forest built to last. And those take time 💚
