Antlerz slashes and shoots between worlds in this combo randomizer of NES Zelda and Metroid.
The Zelda 1 / Metroid 1 (Z1M1) Randomizer is a project that's part of the RetroReloaded suite of randomizers that unifies both games together and allows for seamless switching between the two games via the addition of special portals. Items and equipment are also shuffled across both worlds, allowing for a unique experience for every playthrough that requires the player to constantly switch between the two games in order to fully complete them.
The goals of each game are connected. You need to collect all 8 Triforce pieces, find Kraid and Ridley's statue totems, defeat Mother Brain and finally conquer Ganon. With that said, there are an unbelievable number of ways that these tasks may need to be completed. For all you know, the Morph ball could be located deep in the darkest dungeon, or your Wooden Sword could be found in a Chozo Statue. Furthermore, there's a huge number of randomization options to chose from, allowing for you to craft a truly unique experience for your next playthrough.
