Determined to save Link, the king, and Hyrule, Zelda embarks on a quest with the aid of the enigmatic fairy Tri, who provides her with the Tri Rod.
Throughout the game, various inhabitants of Hyrule make appearances, including Deku Scrubs, Gerudo, Gorons, Zora from rivers and oceans, and Yeti. Dampé also shows up, creating automatons that behave like echoes.
