Agahnim, desperate to impede anyone who may oppose him, has cursed Hyrule into a permanent night and endless rainstorm. With this "Blood Storm" in effect, the Blood Moon has been strengthened and the monsters never seem to stop appearing.
Anthony Moran, after having been ambushed at the Zora's River a few days prior, has been captured and locked up at the Gerudo's Fortress, now under Agahnim's control.
Despite his injuries and the bleakness of the situation, not all hope is lost.
A certain wise old man has contacted him telepathically.
And with his help, Anthony has officially resumed his journey to save Hyrule...
