An album with roughly 22min worth of covers from the Legend of Zelda series. Almost all sounds are from old synthesizers and samplers, most of them much older than The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
A long time ago, a choir sound that was used in Super Metroid was demo'd with the melody of the Song of Time. Since the choir sound was "Male Eees", the idea of the "Temple of E" was born. This idea eventually turned into an entire short album of Zelda tracks.
Imagine a short movie, where the E guy clothed in green travels through a magical forest and eventually finds a spirit that guides him to a shrine deep inside this forest. There is a shrine too, but before he can enter the shrine, he has to complete the Trial of Courage. Inside the shrine, he learns
the dark truth about the kingdom. On the way back to his village, he passes through an old mining facility. Back in his village, he goes to the temple and draws an enchanted sword from a stone pedestal, which is supposed to be only drawn by the chosen one, who will defend the kingdom from evil. Moments later, an earthquake shatters the temple, a thunderstorm appears out of nowhere and evil awakens.
You probably know many of the sounds of these synthesizers and samplers from various games of the time, but that's not even close to what these synthesizers and samplers are really capable of. This album might give you a much better idea of what was really possible back then.

A long while back, we were contacted by an anonymous employee of Nintendo, who wished to send us a package. The package we were sent was of various tapes, relating to the Legend of Zelda series! It turns out, many years ago, these were going to be a part of soundtrack release, whose info has been lost to time. For the first time ever, you will be able to hear these arrangements, digitally remastered in the most pristine quality we could do. We hope you all enjoy what you listen to here!
