Grandiose Recollections and Beautiful Years was a fan-made remake of Dante Timberwolf’s “All The Grand Memories Of All The Lovely Years”, with elements of Vanpassinby's Everywhere In A Different Universe, that aimed to pay homage to the original while refining the original’s execution, concepts, and tracks. The album followed a married individual born in the late 19th/early 20th century, as they grappled with Alzheimer’s Disease and its encroachment on the mind.

"The phenomena of terminal lucidity is not entirely understood, nor is it predictable. In the last few days of life the mind can suddenly, for lack of a better term, open up. Neurons miraculously flicker to life and the sufferer is able to recognize people and recall what few crucial memories remain that had no stimuli to trigger their recollection before.

Anything that has rotted inside plaque-covered neurons cannot be recovered, though temporary recollection and formation of new memories is possible. Mood can vary immensely as the brain is very much dying, only fueled by a fading chemical supernova of DMT and adrenaline. People and places are able to be remembered, even if they no longer exist. Hallucinations are common. Awareness comes and goes.

Their mood and understanding is often that of an infant."
