The Last Story by Hironobu Sakaguchi is a Wii exclusive from his Mistwalker development studio. It featured amazing CG cutscenes, and thus, I felt the need to upgrade them from their original 480P 30FPS state.
So, I took all the THP video files directly from the Wii ROM for the game, converted them all to MP4s, manually synced the audio, then used AI to upgrade them to 1080P 60FPS.
You'll also notice most of it is in proper widescreen now. No cropping was done at all. They were already widescreen essentially, but squished into a 4:3 aspect ratio, so I simply transformed them back out to actual 16:9. Some portions are widescreen-ish and feature black bars at the left and right. My main goal was to not crop anything out. Every shred of gorgeous detail is maintained here.
